Preisverleihung bei CROSSING EUROPE Filmfestival 2007: PIA MARAIS gewinnt den Wettbewerb mit DIE UNERZOGENEN. Der Award Local Artist geht an LIBERTAD HACKL für BLEIBEN WILL ICH, WO ICH NIE GEWESEN BIN beziehungsweise LUKAS MARXT und MICHAEL PETRI für NACH DER EISHÖHLE. Den ray Publikumspreis erhält GÉRALD HUSTACHE-MATHIEU für AVRIL/APRIL IN LOVE.

Der aus dem Europäischen Wettbewerb als Preisträger hervorgegangene Die Unerzogenen ist heute um 21.00 Uhr im City-Kino nochmals zu sehen.
FESTIVALBILANZ UND AUSBLICK
Um 12.00 Uhr zieht Festivalleiterin Christine Dollhofer auf dem CROSSING EUROPE Hotelschiff M.P.S. Florentina vor dem Lentos Kunstmuseum Linz die Bilanz von CROSSING EUROPE 2007 und gibt einen Ausblick auf die weitere Entwicklung des Festivals, dessen kommende fünfte Ausgabe für 22. bis 27. April 2008 angesetzt ist.

CROSSING EUROPE Filmfestival 2007 award ceremony: German director PIA MARAIS wins the European Competition with Die Unerzogenen/The Unpolished. LIBERTAD HACKL (Bleiben will ich, wo ich nie gewesen bin) respectively LUKAS MARXT and MICHAEL PETRI (Nach der Eishöhle) receive the Award Local Artist. The ray Audience Award goes to GÉRALD HUSTACHE-MATHIEU for Avril/April in Love.
SCREENING OF THE PRIZE-WINNING FILM
The prize-winning film in the European Competition, Die Unerzogenen, will be screened again today at 9:00 pm at City Kino.
FESTIVAL REVIEW AND PREVIEW
At 12.00 noon the festival director Christine Dollhofer takes stock of CROSSING EUROPE 2007 on the CROSSING EUROPE hotel ship M.P.S. Florentina in front of the Lentos Art Museum Linz and offers a preview of the further development of the festival, the fifth edition of which is planned for 22 to 27 April 2008.
