At 3pm today in Moviemento 3, there's a programme of shorts by "local artist" Dietmar Brehm. I had a shorts afternoon/early-evening yesterday, taking in 27 separate works over four programmes (Tromso Youth, Brehm, Karlsruhe, Inger Lise Hansen) and the pick of the bunch were a pair by Brehm: Ozeanand Verdrehten Augen Videoversion 2. Meanwhile, if you have an hour or two spare and feel like seeing some hidden sides of Linz, I suggest you follow the river-path (on the "busier" side of the Danube, heading east) as it gently curves along the waterfront, to the Winterhafen. Keep going until the path ends, then double-back onto the other side of the peninsula - the "winter harbour" itself now visible on your left - and walk back towards the city and your next screening. You'll pass boatyards, busy ship-repair yards, odd little sporting-clubs, mysterious bunker-like constructions, and much else besides...Viel spaß!
